Art is for everyone. But oftentimes, the traditional spaces to engage with contemporary pieces feel distant or intimidating. We wanted to change that. We turned a historic canal house into a multifaceted, two-story gallery, design store and café that feels like home. Not an emptily promised home, but an authentic one. To us, that meant the smell of freshly brewed coffee. Soft music crooning from a corner. Walls holding beautiful pieces of art that gently catch the morning light. That Sunday Morning Feeling, every day.

Designed with intention

To bring our vision to life, we turned to Atelier Axo, a Copenhagen-based architecture and design studio known for their spatial storytelling. Thanks to their visionary touch, Two Story has become a space that balances nostalgia with innovation, blending the old with the new. Familiar enough to be calming and approachable to all, contemporary enough to hold space for the pieces and objects we proudly give a home to.

Linde, the discerning eye behind our collections

“Art and design aren’t meant to stand alone, they should be part of someone’s everyday.”

Linde pairs her professional experience in hospitality and luxury with her natural inclination toward design, art and curation. She has shaped Two Story into a space that feels more like a home than a gallery, filled with art and objects chosen not just for aesthetic appeal, but to exist as beloved companions to someone’s everyday. Timeless, thoughtful pieces, destined for real homes where they will be loved for a lifetime.

Justus, the hands behind our café

“Simplicity is at the heart of our kitchen, and in the way we host. Nothing loud, nothing rushed. Just good food, quality coffee and a laid-back atmosphere.”

Justus believes that food has the power to bring people together. His modern approach to time-tested recipes gives our café its character, while his genuine love of hosting lends Two Story its homelike feeling. Grounded, fuss-free, warm and welcoming. That's the Two Story experience, thanks to Justus.
