The emotional
language of color

With A Living Spectrum, we bring together the work of Rebecca von Matérn and Aucke Paulusma. Through color, atmosphere and expressive form, the exhibition explores a range of emotional states, inviting visitors into a lived experience that shifts between warmth and depth, stillness and vitality.

Rather than presenting something fixed, the works reflect moments of connection and solitude, surrender and becoming—emotions that move through us and shape the way we experience the world.

Between abstraction and figuration

Rebecca’s abstract paintings emerge from a dialogue with her surroundings, weaving personal and poetic narratives that capture subtle feelings and moments. Aucke’s figurative compositions draw from autobiographical experiences, reflecting human connection and the everyday emotional life.
